The power of forum marketing is that its one of the best ways to build relations and a reputation online. Do not start by posting your ads everywhere in the forum. Actually, don’t post any ads at all (except in the classifieds sections, but this is not where the power lays).

Become part of the community, ask questions, answer questions, make friends and discuss topics that interest you (and your business). Show people that you’re not just another hyped up guy trying to earn money on tricking them into something. Be seen as a real, trustworthy person that is open to communicate with people. This shows you will be a good sponsor if they want to join your company.

What techniques can help me do this?

1. BE SEEN!
   Be sure to use an avatar (a picture of yourself or a logo). This can be added to your profile and will be shown beside all of your posts. This image will make it easy for people to recognise you and gives them a feeling of knowing you after seeing it all over.
2. BE PROFESSIONAL!
   Do not use foul language or let your emotions get ahead of you. Be clear about your meanings, but try basing them on facts.
3. BE POSITIVE!
   Do not talk badly about other people businesses unless they are proven scams (be humble). In internet marketing, do not make your company look good by talking bad about the competition. Talking bad about other online businesses will only cast a shadow over the whole internet marketing concept (including your business).

But how do I get people to my business?

There are two places you should have links back to you own business.

The first place to add your link is in your profile. It’s a perfectly legit and normal place to have a link to your main business.

The second place is in your signature. This is also done through your profile in the given forum, but be sure to read the forum rules before doing this (some forums do not allow ads in your signature). The signature is added to the end of all your posts with a line in between. Every time you communicate on the forum, your site will be promoted without you looking like an aggressive promoter.

You should make it a short description of your business linking to your business.

SIDE NOTE: Forums do not use HTML to ad colour, font, etc. to the text, but a code called bbc. An easy program to help you make the text and effects you want in this code is FASS. It’s free and can be found here: http://www.pawsoft.com/?p=fass/home

If you really want to make progress you should also track your links in the signature. Many online businesses have tracking software for this purpose. TrafficWave is one of them.

What’s great about this piece is Brad’s story. Before joining a network marketing company he was basically an introvert as an artist. This spoke to me since I myself am an introvert. How he was able to build his organization gives other introverts hope that we all can achieve what he was able to.

Brad goes step by step in how to build an attraction marketing campaign. Although it is the same stuff you may hear (Position yourself as an expert, you need to sell YOU…), what’s unique is that he stresses writing a bio page on yourself in order to sell yourself.

He doesn’t say to write about what car you are driving, or that you have a dog with bad breath. Brad says to write about how you will add value to your prospect.

If you are going to mention that you drive a jalopy, you better put a reason why and how that little piece of information is helpful to the prospect.

Find your “brand” and market that to the world. In other words, market yourself FIRST before your product or business opportunity.

Brad also teaches you the basics to writing copy, lead capture pages, as well as the importance of creating your list.

As all network marketers know, the list is your greatest asset. Brad stresses that this list is neither bought or “harvested”, but grown by you.

And the only way to keep the people on your list is to establish a relationship and keep delivering value.

I highly recommend this book to anyone serious in the networking business. What I mean is, that I’d recommend this to someone who is frustrated with their business BUT wants to make their business work.

I wouldn’t give this to any tire kickers or anyone with just a “ME” attitude. This ebook is about how you will benefit your prospect, not how your prospect will benefit you.

If you’re looking for a overview of how to set up a campaign this is your book. Although this book is detailed to an extext, if you want to get into the details of creating Google Adwords campaigns or site building and whatnot, go with some of the affiliates Brad suggests.

Brad gives you enough “to be dangerous”.

What’s great about this piece is Brad’s story. Before joining a network marketing company he was basically an introvert as an artist. This spoke to me since I myself am an introvert. How he was able to build his organization gives other introverts hope that we all can achieve what he was able to.

Brad goes step by step in how to build an attraction marketing campaign. Although it is the same stuff you may hear (Position yourself as an expert, you need to sell YOU…), what’s unique is that he stresses writing a bio page on yourself in order to sell yourself.

He doesn’t say to write about what car you are driving, or that you have a dog with bad breath. Brad says to write about how you will add value to your prospect.

If you are going to mention that you drive a jalopy, you better put a reason why and how that little piece of information is helpful to the prospect.

Find your “brand” and market that to the world. In other words, market yourself FIRST before your product or business opportunity.

Brad also teaches you the basics to writing copy, lead capture pages, as well as the importance of creating your list.

As all network marketers know, the list is your greatest asset. Brad stresses that this list is neither bought or “harvested”, but grown by you.

And the only way to keep the people on your list is to establish a relationship and keep delivering value.

I highly recommend this book to anyone serious in the networking business. What I mean is, that I’d recommend this to someone who is frustrated with their business BUT wants to make their business work.

I wouldn’t give this to any tire kickers or anyone with just a “ME” attitude. This ebook is about how you will benefit your prospect, not how your prospect will benefit you.

If you’re looking for a overview of how to set up a campaign this is your book. Although this book is detailed to an extext, if you want to get into the details of creating Google Adwords campaigns or site building and whatnot, go with some of the affiliates Brad suggests.

There are some crucial factors in a home business that works. While you may still succeed without these factors in place you might just fail too, or at least have a much tougher and less enjoyable time growing your business.

First and foremost, unless you live alone, your family must be behind your creation of a home business. They must understand that when you’re working you’re not to be disturbed. They must understand that your home office isn’t their playground. They must understand that security in your home office is crucial and your home office equipment is to be used solely for your business, in tasks such as Internet marketing and affiliate marketing, Web site design, accounting, and other business-related functions. Your spouse shouldn’t e-mail his or her friends on your home business PC and your children shouldn’t use your printer to make copies for their book report.

The ideal for a home business office environment is one with a door that closes – and locks. You should install locks on your file cabinets and padlock or otherwise lock down heavy equipment to discourage would-be intruders. Often it’s not the loss of the hardware that hurts your home business and calls a temporary or permanent halt to your Internet marketing and other netpreneurial efforts – it’s the loss of the information and the software.

A home business office, where you spend much time on the Web designing or updating your site, talking to consumers or Internet marketing, must be safe and well lighted. You don’t need to spend a fortune on home office furniture. There’s nothing wrong with good used furniture. That chair you spend at least eight hours each day in must be well cushioned, though, with good lumbar support and the tools such as arm and height adjustments to make sure it’s ergonomically correct for you. If you have to pinch pennies buy a scratch and dent used desk but splurge on your home office chair.

It’s absolutely crucial that you cover and otherwise remove cords from the middle of the home office floor. Many home business netpreneurs get so engrossed in their Internet marketing and other online business maneuvers that they forget about the cord in the middle of the floor or the drawer left open. Cover up those cords, keep furniture out of your pathway and get yourself plenty of pleasant lighting. A few plants, a photo or two and some nice floor or table lamps will give you a pleasant home office atmosphere from which to focus on your home business Internet marketing, products, services and sales.

First and foremost, unless you live alone, your family must be behind your creation of a home business. They must understand that when you’re working you’re not to be disturbed. They must understand that your home office isn’t their playground. They must understand that security in your home office is crucial and your home office equipment is to be used solely for your business, in tasks such as Internet marketing and affiliate marketing, Web site design, accounting, and other business-related functions. Your spouse shouldn’t e-mail his or her friends on your home business PC and your children shouldn’t use your printer to make copies for their book report.

The ideal for a home business office environment is one with a door that closes – and locks. You should install locks on your file cabinets and padlock or otherwise lock down heavy equipment to discourage would-be intruders. Often it’s not the loss of the hardware that hurts your home business and calls a temporary or permanent halt to your Internet marketing and other netpreneurial efforts – it’s the loss of the information and the software.

A home business office, where you spend much time on the Web designing or updating your site, talking to consumers or Internet marketing, must be safe and well lighted. You don’t need to spend a fortune on home office furniture. There’s nothing wrong with good used furniture. That chair you spend at least eight hours each day in must be well cushioned, though, with good lumbar support and the tools such as arm and height adjustments to make sure it’s ergonomically correct for you. If you have to pinch pennies buy a scratch and dent used desk but splurge on your home office chair.

It’s absolutely crucial that you cover and otherwise remove cords from the middle of the home office floor. Many home business netpreneurs get so engrossed in their Internet marketing and other online business maneuvers that they forget about the cord in the middle of the floor or the drawer left open. Cover up those cords, keep furniture out of your pathway and get yourself plenty of pleasant lighting. A few plants, a photo or two and some nice floor or table lamps will give you a pleasant home office atmosphere from which to focus on your home business Internet marketing, products, services and sales.
